The small apartment complex was built in 1997, a modern building that blends in well with the historical surroundings of the Kadijken thanks to the design of Claus en Kaan architects. The Kadijken is a remarkable neighborhood in the centre of Amsterdam, just north of the famous zoo Artis. There are many monumental buildings and the former warehouses and schipyards remind of the history of this area. Surrounding the Kadijksplein are many cafes, restaurants and nice terraces, like café Orloff, Sotto Pizza and restaurant Entrepot. Also the Scheepvaartmuseum and Nemo are within walking distance. There are many good public transport facilities nearby into the city centre or Central Station. Also by car you can easily get to the highway A10 via the IJtunnel and Piet Heintunnel. Currently there is no waiting list for obtaining a parking permit.
