The Elandsgracht is located in the middle of the lively Jordaan and around the corner from the Nine Streets. The Elandsgracht was drained in 1891 and since 1975 the annual Jordaan festival has been held around the Elandsgracht. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops in the area.
