On a quiet part of the Jan Evertsenstraat in the upcoming Baarsjes district is this bright and tidy one bedroom of approximately 47 m2. The apartment is situated on the third floor of a building with the typical Berlage style and has a spacious living room, a separate bedroom and a sunny south-facing balcony. Furthermore, on the fourth floor is an extra storage room with connection for the washing machine.
Through the communal entrance and staircase you reach the private entrance on the third floor. You enter the hall with access to the bathroom. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink. The spacious living room is at the front of the house. In this room is a practical double built-in closet, for lots of storage as well as the electricity meters. From the living room you have access to the kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and microwave oven. The bedroom is located at the rear of the house. This separate bedroom is created by placing a wall with glass panels between the living room and bedroom. The district the Baarsjes has become very popular in the recent years. It is a bubbling neighborhood with many cafes and restaurants as in the street bar Baarsch, Radijs en café Zurich, around the corner at the Admiraal de Ruijterweg Fa. Spijkervet and Bar Spek and on the De Clerqstraat Fier, Rotisserie en café Thuys. Also the daily shopping can be done just down the street and at the Mercatorplein, literally around the corner. When you are looking for some more relaxation then you just walk to the Rembrandtpark or the Erasmus Park. The Amsterdam city center is easy to reach by bike. The Ring A-10 is easily accessible by car, but this neighborhood is also easily to reach by public transport with several tram and bus lines. In this neighborhood there is just a short waiting list for a parking permit (2 months at the moment). This permit also allows to park in the garage underneath the Mercatorplein.
