Layout
The neat, communal staircase leads you to the apartment, located on the third floor. Upon entering the hall, the eye gets immediately drawn to the front of the house: the bright living room, with a neat parquet floor and wooden window frames with double glazing, has a charming bay window and offers a beautiful view of the monumental Synagogue built in 1766, with its tree-lined courtyard. The living room has a side room where the dining area is located, great for cozy get-togethers and candlelit dinners. It is also possible to turn this into a third bedroom.
The separate kitchen is located at the rear of the house. It comes with all comforts and (built-in) equipment, such as an extractor hood, four-burner gas stove, dishwasher and oven. Open the kitchen door and enjoy the panoramic view of the courtyards while cooking. It is a true oasis for music lovers: the small independent music venue Splendor is in the Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat and the Nieuwe Muziekgebouw/Bimhuis and Stopera are just around the corner.
The house is easily accessible by public transport. The Waterlooplein and Nieuwmarkt metro stations are within walking distance, as well as buses and Amsterdam Central train station can be reached within few minutes by bike.
